Wild Wolves Forest School
Community ~ Nature ~ Participant-led
A small and independent project supporting the local community to connect with nature and each other located in and around South Oxfordshire and Berkshire, UK, and consulting for Higher Education further afield.
Founder, Nicky, is a trained Forest School Leader with a background in education and the arts. Wild Wolves Forest School is born out of passion to support all types of learners to better engage, embody and experience the natural world and their community. Outdoor learning experiences offer multiple holistic wellbeing benefits; from fresher air and observational mindfulness through to the critical skills of problem solving and practicing safe conflict resolution through sharing resources; increased confidence and resilience from a sense of responsibility for the local area and understanding that not everything should be tamed.
Wild Wolves Forest School begins as an after-school club, but it is hoped it will serve multiple local communities, independent and charitable, as a mobile practice and through a site of it’s own.
All sessions are insured, risk assessed and have a generous participant-staff ratio.
